It’s been a hot minute since we’ve done a toy review for the magazine and I have been contemplating what toy to review for this issue for some time. Honestly, I haven’t really had a toy that has knocked my socks off. Don’t get me wrong, there have been toys that have been adequate and have gotten the job done, but none of them have really blown my mind. 

Until the most recent toy that I received from Too Timid.

First Impression was Meh

When I saw the toy online, I wasn’t really intrigued by the toy. First, it looks pretty funny, I mean the lips, the tongue, it’s all a bit laughable. Its cartoon character physique was a bit unappealing to me. On top of that, I believed it was like every other oral sex simulator out there, made of a hard plastic silicone that would feel cold against my body. Oral sex is something that is intimate, its sensual, and to try and replicate that feeling with toys, companies have just fallen flat. 

Needless to say, when I received this toy, my expectations were pretty low. But when I opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised to find the complete opposite. The lips and tongue of the toy are made up of a super soft silicone that feels the most lifelike to skin as you can get.

But what really caught my interest, was when I turned the toy on. Check out the video below to see what I am talking about. 

My Review

As soon as I turned the toy on and was able to see what it was truly capable of, I threw that baby on a charger to make sure it was at full capacity so I could test it out. Honestly, I got freaking excited for this toy, and it has been a while since a toy peaked my interest, so when it was fully charged I rushed at the opportunity to test it out.

The toy…did not disappoint. In fact, it exceeded my expectations. SO. FREAKING. GOOD!

The soft lips provide a lifelike feel to the toy. I think it would be even cooler if they could add a warming feature to the lips to make them a little bit more lifelike, but the toy, was incredible. I was floored by how quickly I was able to come to climax AND the amount of times I was able to climax in one session.

Now, you all know I am a super huge fan of air pulse technology toys for their intensity, but this toy provided an intensity that was great without being too much. One of my favorite toys on the market is the, We Vibe Melt , its intensity is unmatched, but sometimes the intensity can get a bit overwhelming. Especially if you are just starting out with clit stimulation exploration.

The Flaming Red Lips Oral Toy provides a natural intensity that you can “ride” out. It’s enough without being so intense that you feel like you can’t really use the toy for a long duration of time. The lips, although a bit cartoonish, feel nice against your skin, soft, subtle. The tongue, provides a vibrating “twitching” sensation to your clit that is ridiculously enjoyable.

The different settings for the toy…HOLY SHIT…each one provided a different rhythm and pattern and I was obsessed with rotating through them as I used the toy in my session. Each one felt better than the next. There was one where it would provide stimulation, completely stop, then start back up slowly….then quicker and quicker, than stop again. My head damn near exploded off my body with that one.

My favorite aspect of this toy, it actually felt like receiving oral sex. It was the closest a toy has come to replicating the feeling of being with another person.

The best aspect of this toy is it requires little to no work on the user in order for it to have the full effect. You turn it on, you circle through the vibration options (both on the same button), hold it in your hand and let the toy do the work. It was easy to handle and to be able to move to toy around with my hands if I wanted to get stimulation on the rest of my vulva or on different areas on my clit.

This toy is the BEST Oral Sex Simulation toy on the market that I have tried. Hands down! Nothing even compares to this toy. The best part about it too? Ridiculously cheap. After I tested the toy, I jumped on the website to see how much the toy cost, ONLY FREAKING $40. In the sex toy world, that is an insane deal considering the quality of the toy. I thought it was going to be easily $100.

Most oral sex simulation toys are pretty pricey. Like these two toys I have tested in the past Sir Richard’s Clit Stimulator and Dual Ended Flickering Tongue Vibrator both are great toys, but they come with a hefty price tag and honestly, weren’t as good as The Flaming Red Lips. Although, I do think they should change the name of the toy considering it’s extremely freakin lengthy and the idea of “flaming red lips” makes my crotch ache in a bad way for some reason.

Despite the ridiculous look of the toy and the mile long name, it’s a fucking fantastic toy. As soon as I was done using it, I messaged most of my female friends with the link and the statement: GO BUY THIS FREAKIN TOY RIGHT NOW!
