It’s about that time of the month: toy review time. About a year ago, I reviewed The Thrust by Bellesa Co and the review is our highest viewed post on this blog to date. If you haven’t read the article, you can check it out here, but the jist of it was: great thrusting toy, shitty clit vibrator.

One of my suggestions in the article was for Bellesa to nix the clit vibrator for the Thrust and add an air pulse clit toy instead. Air pulse clit toys are known to cause intense FAST orgasms for clit owners. To much of my delight, around late 2023, Bellesa announced their newest toy that was coming to the market: The Air Thrust : the thrusting capabilities of the original thrust, but now with an air pulse clit stimulator. The literal EXACT thing I stated they needed in my review.

I emailed my rep at Bellesa immediately and asked to be put on the PR list to be able to receive the toy to write a follow up review. The toy finally made its way to my house in the middle of March and to say I was excited about this toy was the understatement of the year. I deemed this toy was going to be the BEST sex toy on the market with its release. I charged the toy immediately and when I was finally able to get a moment to myself, I decided to give it a go.

The Test

In order to compare the AirThrust to the Thrust, I wanted to make sure I followed the same “protocol” as the original test. Therefore: I used another toy, my Flaming Red Lips toy (my personal favorite toy right now) to get myself good and warmed up.

Penetration wise, just like The Thrust, the toy slide in, with lubrication, extremely easy. Once the toy was in, I turned on the clit stimulator first, let that run for a few seconds, and then added the thrusting motion.

The Review

Honestly, this breaks my heart to write this review because I had such HIGH hopes for this toy. But here we go:

The thrusting component of the toy was still SPOT ON. The different functions were great, however, and I don’t remember if I wrote about this in my previous article, the position of the buttons (at the very bottom of the toy) are ridiculously hard to navigate and reach when the toy is inside of you. I was laying on my back, so in order to hit the buttons or to see which button I was hitting, I almost had to do a “crunch” to adjust the settings from on to the other, which wasn’t the best feeling on my back. If they included a remote with the toy, I think it would be much easier and more relaxing to be able to enjoy rather than feeling like I was in gym class every single time I had to change the setting.

Now the part that disappoints me the most was the clit stimulator on the toy. The whole reason they bumped the price up on this toy from $200 to $300 was because they added an air pulse technology clit stimulator on this toy. For those of you who don’t know what that is, the toy “blows” air onto your clit and sucks on it, basically to simulate the feeling of oral sex. Air pulse technology toys are meant to give the fastest most intense orgasms to vulva owners.

I am always willing to throw down good money on an air pulse technology toy because usually they are worth the price tag, however, the clit stimulator on this AirThrust was lacking in every single way.

1. The positioning of the clit stimulator was awkward AGAIN. In my original review, I wrote about the fact that the original Thrust clit stimulator never touched my clit, but rather sat on my lips. My clit is tucked behind my lips, meaning, it did literally nothing for me. With the AirThrust, it was the exact same thing. The clit stimulator came no where near hitting my clit. Even after literally parting my lips, the toy hovered above my clit not on it.
2. Therefore, I didn’t feel ANYTHING on my clit. Not a single freakin thing especially while the thrusting aspect was inside of me. To test it out further, I removed the shaft of the toy and placed the clit stimulator on my clit by itself and still…wah wahhhh wahhh, nothing good. If you have more of an exposed clit, this may not be a problem for you, but if you are someone with a smaller hidden clit, it’s not going to touch you.
3. The intensity, you mean WHAT intensity. For freakin real, air pulse toys usually get me off in 30 seconds-at the most 2 minutes flat. This toy lacked the intensity to get me off at all. It just was meh, no other way to describe it but just blah.

Needless to say, I was disappointed with the toy. In fact, during my session I even said “you’ve got to be kidding me” as I tossed the toy to the side and grabbed one of my other toys to finish the job. Honestly, when I posted my review videos on Snapchat, I thought I was being a bit harsh and that maybe I was the only one who experienced the disappointment with the toy. Until, I opened my Snapchat inbox and saw DOZENS of messages from women who felt the exact same way about the toy: utter disappointment.

So, is the AirThrust worth breaking the bank over, absolutely not. Put your credit card away, it’s just not worth it.

Toys That ARE Worth Your Money

Since the Air Thrust was a massive dud, and you are probably just as saddened by my review as I was, let me turn you on to some toys that I believe are worth EVERY.SINGLE.PENNY of your hard earned money.

The We Vibe Melt :

This is my OG toy, my literal favorite. Yes, the toy is a bit pricey, weighing in at $150, but when I saw this toy is worth every single penny, I fucking mean it. The Melt is an air pulse technology toy that is the most intense air pulse technology toy I have tried, and I have reviewed a lot of toys.

This is my go to toy if I want to get off quickly and intensely. The toy will make you cum so hard you black out momentarily and forget who you are (in the best fucking way possible.) It also comes with an App that you can download and your partner can request control of your toy from any distance and play with you all via the App and Bluetooth. I’ve owned this toy for 3 years and it is still my ride or die toy during solo sessions.

The Flaming Red Lips

This toy is currently sold out, but I happen to know from an inside source at Too Timid, that they are about to receive a shipment of 600-700 of these bad boys in the next few months.

This toy has become my new favorite toy and I have reviewed it over and over again, in fact, I’ve helped Too Timid sell this toy out of stock TWICE because I believe in this toy so much. It’s on the cheaper end $60, but holy shit mother of God batman and the cap crusader, this toy is incredible.

A friend of mine, who I convinced to buy the toy, said to me “I love this toy because I don’t have to get mentally there (aroused) in order to use the toy. I turn it on and my body literally reacts to it” I could not find better words than hers to describe how incredible this toy is.

The lips are made of a super soft silicone, the tongue of the toy has so many settings, each one more magical than the next. It’s not hard to use, one button does it all, and it will have you cumming over and over again.

The Diosa

Now, if you are looking for an air pulse technology toy but can’t throw down $150, check out The Diosa by Too Timid. This is the second best air pulse technology toy I have tried.

It’s a little less intense than The Melt but it still packs a fucking awesome punch. It has one level of intensity but a variety of pulsation settings and they are phenomenal. My personal favorite is the one that sucks, pauses, sucks again, pauses, etc. That setting has my toys CURLING every single time I use it.

This one is a good fit for sex as well. You can switch the angle of the toy (handle facing your stomach) while your partner penetrates you vaginally (or use it while they penetrate you anally) and your clit will thank you for the more intense orgasm you will receive.

These three toys, are lower in price than the Air Thrust and higher in VALUE. If you are going to chose to purchase a toy, check out one of my three recommended ones rather than throwing a shitton of money down on the AirThrust to find out you don’t like it…and you can’t return it.
