Explore the 12 Styles of Orgasms: Your Path to Ultimate Pleasure – Techniques, Tips, and Insights

It’s pretty incredible what the human body is capable of as a vulva owner. Modern science is now barely scratching the surface of attempting to unlock all of the potential that we have when it comes to sexual pleasure. As of recently, there are 12 known ways you can achieve climax, whether you are playing solo or with a partner. Yes, 12, I know, it’s quiet shocking and when I tell people this fun little fact, most of them are floored and the question “what are the 12″ quickly follows.

Therefore, in this article today I am briefly going to go over the 12 Styles of Orgasms that Vulva Owners can experience. This will be a brief discussion on the 12 Types and where you can locate them on the body. If you are looking for a more in depth training, check out The 12 Styles of Orgasms Training I did for one of my Smex Ed Classes. The training is 52 minutes long, goes over all style of orgasms, how to achieve it, where they are located, as well as discusses female squirting and ejaculation (which are not included in the 12 styles.)

Style 1: The Oral Orgasm

No, we are not talking about oral sex here. We are discussing people having the ability to achieve an orgasm via sensual kissing. Yes, you read that right, just making out can cause your partner to cum.

The mouth is full of nerve endings, each one when stimulated over a duration of time can create an orgasm throughout the body. Typically this style orgasm takes some time to achieve. Think about your hottest make out sessions, you know the ones where you are straddling your partner and you don’t know where your tongue begins and theirs ends, those style sessions are the ones that will help you achieve this oral orgasm. It requires time, patience, and lots of sensual kissing.

Next time you are with your partner, slow down before you jump into the sheets and see if you can give them an oral orgasm before the big show.

Style 2: The Nipple Orgasm

This orgasm is pretty self explanatory, and involves nipple play, well actually full breast play. The nipple orgasm is cause by stimulated the areas around the nipple and well as the actual nipple itself. Fun fact: The nerve endings in your nipples are connected to the same part of the brain as your genitals, which is why some people experience pleasurable sensations when their nipples are stimulated. This connection is thought to be a remnant of our evolutionary history, where nipple stimulation played a role in promoting bonding between mothers and infants during breastfeeding.

The best way to play with this orgasm is by sensual teasing and touch around the breast first, avoiding the nipple all together. Then you slowly move onto the nipples themselves. Don’t be afraid to add some other stimulation here, whether it’s using a vibrator on your nipples, maybe using nipple clamps, or even exploring hot and cold temperature play could have your partner screaming for more.

Style 3: Clitoral Orgasm

This one should honestly be a no brainer, but you would be surprised by the amount of people who don’t recognize the power the clit holds. The clitoris contains 10,000 nerve endings compared to the head of a penis which only holds 4,000. This means that the clit is THE place to be when it comes to sexual stimulation for vulva owners.

Psss…let me let you know on a little secret about the clit. The part you see, that’s just the clitoral hood, it’s actually much bigger than you except. The clit runs down each side of the labia and can be as long as 4 1/2 inches and 2 1/2 inches wide. It tends to resemble a wish bone shape. Therefore, stimulating the clitoral hood is great, but you can stimulate the entire system by stimulation AROUND the labia as well.

Always ask your partner what type of stimulation they like on this clit because everyone is different. What gets one person off, might not do a damn thing for another person, so always check in with them when you are starting to explore their body.

Style 4: U Spot Orgasm

The U spot orgasm is always one that surprises the masses because they never realized it was a thing. This orgasm requires stimulation OUTSIDE of the urethra.

Nerve endings outside the urethra play a crucial role in sensory perception and bodily function. These nerve endings, primarily located in the surrounding tissue of the urethral opening, are responsible for transmitting sensations of touch, pressure, and temperature. When stimulated, they send signals to the brain, allowing us to perceive sensations such as arousal, discomfort, or pain.

This is an EXTERNAL play only style of orgasm. You NEVER want to stick anything inside of urethra as it can cause damage to the internal system. Use a vibrator, your fingers, a tongue to play with the area around the opening and see how your partner’s body responds.

Style 5: A Spot Orgasm

The anterior fornix erogenous zone, often abbreviated as AFE zone, is a highly sensitive area located deep within the vagina, towards the front wall, beyond the cervix. This elusive yet intensely pleasurable zone is renowned for its potential to induce powerful orgasms when stimulated. Unlike the more commonly discussed G-spot, the AFE zone is believed to be an extension of the clitoral network, with its stimulation often described as producing intense sensations akin to a deep, full-body release.

While its exact anatomy and mechanisms of arousal remain subjects of ongoing research and debate, its recognition underscores the complexity and richness of human sexual response, inviting exploration and appreciation of the diverse pathways to pleasure within the realm of human sexuality.

Your vaginal canal normally is anywhere from 2-4 inches long, but when it becomes sexually stimulated, can actually expand and reach up to 8-10 inches in length. This is how the A spot can be reached. Therefore, you need to ensure that your partner is properly stimulated before you go “fishing around” for this zone.

Style 6: G Spot/Vaginal Orgasm

Now there is a reason this orgasm has two names: according to recent studies exploring the existence of the G Spot, not every vulva owner may have a G Spot (or it may not exist at all.) Therefore, this orgasm can be considered a vaginal orgasm as well.

If you do have a G spot, it’s an erogenous zone that is located 2-4 inches inside of your vaginal canal. Contradictory to popular belief, this isn’t a “spot” you can feel but more of a zone within the vaginal canal that when stimulated can produce a powerful orgasm, The common trick is if you are using your fingers to create a “come hither” motion to stimulate the spot, which seems a lot easier said than done.

If you are using a toy, make sure to use plenty of lubrication, and insert the toy inside of the vaginal canal about 2-4 inches. Turn the toy on and see if you feel any type of stimulation in that area. If so, it is likely that you have a G Spot zone.

Style 7: Cervical Orgasm

The cervix, a cylindrical-shaped structure located at the lower end of the uterus, plays a crucial role in female reproductive health. It serves as a gateway between the uterus and the vagina, regulating the flow of menstrual blood and serving as a barrier against infections.

However, the cervix’s significance extends beyond reproduction. During sexual arousal, the cervix can become engorged with blood, causing it to swell and change position. This response is part of the body’s preparation for potential fertilization.

Additionally, some individuals report experiencing pleasurable sensations when the cervix is stimulated during sexual activity. These sensations can vary widely among individuals, ranging from a feeling of fullness or pressure to intense pleasure.

The cervix is the deepest style of orgasm that a vulva owner can feel, typically 6-8 inches inside of the vaginal canal. Many vulva owners state the best way to achieve this orgasm is to be in a position that creates deep penetration (on top, reverse cowgirl, on your side) and allow the vulva owner to control the depth in which the penis is able to reach.

Style 8: Anal Orgasm

The anus, a crucial part of the digestive system, serves as the exit point for waste material from the body. Remarkably, it is densely populated with nerve endings, making it highly sensitive to touch and pressure. These nerve endings play a pivotal role in signaling the brain about the presence of fecal matter and the need for bowel movements. We are all adults here, if this grosses you out…don’t be participating in anal play.

Additionally, theses nerve endings contribute to the sensation of pleasure during certain activities like sexual intercourse or stimulation. This style or orgasm can be achieved externally as well as internally (if you are nervous about penetration, you can still experience it.) Have your partner, or you can do it yourself, take a clit stimulator and place it around the anus opening. The vibrations will stimulate the nerve endings around your anus and you could achieve climax from external stimulation alone.

If you are looking to explore internal stimulation through penetration, be sure to do your research first. Check out this article I did about Anal Sex Toys to get your body prepared for penetration.

Style 9: Multiple Orgasms

Multiple orgasms is not a myth, it’s real. Vulva owners have the ability to have multiple orgasms during one solo or partner play session.

Multiple orgasms are when a person has several orgasms very close together. Some people who have multiple orgasms report having orgasms back-to-back, with just seconds between each. Others have an orgasm, experience a decline in arousal, become aroused again within minutes, and have another orgasm soon after.

Multiple orgasms are different from long-lasting orgasms, which are just one orgasm. With multiple orgasms, the first orgasm ends and there is an explicit, short period when the person is not having an orgasm. Then, typically due to continued or renewed stimulation, another orgasm happens soon after.

The key to helping your partner achieve multiple orgasms is helping them feel comfortable and relaxed during a session so that their body feels safe enough to allow itself to climax over and over again. Also, switching up stimulation styles can do this as well. For example, if your partner has a clitoral orgasm, try stimulating the nipples afterwards, or maybe focus on penetration. Switch up the stimulation, ask them what feels good, and keep on going.

Style 10: Blended Orgasms

Blended orgasms are different than multiple orgasms which some people don’t realize. Like stated before, multiple orgasms are when one orgasm happens, there is a slight refectory period, and then another orgasm comes rolling through. With blended orgasms, it’s about stimulating multiple erogenous zones at one time.

For example, using clitoral stimulation, nipple stimulation, AND penetration at the same time would cause a blended orgasm to occur within the body. Or maybe, stimulating the anus with a vibrator, will kissing your partner, and stimulating their nipples with your other hands. The possibilities are endless and can cause your partner to explode with pleasure.

Style 11: Coregasms

Coregasms, known as exercise-induced orgasms, are a fascinating yet lesser-known physiological phenomenon. They typically occur during intense physical activity, especially exercises engaging the core muscles.

These orgasms stem from a combination of factors, including increased blood flow to the pelvic region, activation of core muscles, and stimulation of nearby nerves. While the exact mechanisms behind coregasms remain somewhat elusive, they underscore the intricate interplay between physical exertion, neural pathways, and sexual response.

Understanding coregasms not only sheds light on the complexities of human physiology but also emphasizes the interconnectedness of bodily functions. However, it’s important to note that experiences vary widely among individuals, and not everyone may encounter coregasms during exercise!

Style 12: Sleep Orgasms

The final style of Orgasms has a few names: Sleep Orgasm, Mental Orgasm, Fantasy Orgasm, but they basically function the same way. This is typically an involuntary orgasm that happens when you are sleeping. Often referred to as a “wet dream”, these orgasms revolve around a sexual fantasy taking place in your subconscious while you are asleep and your body reacting to that fantasy by producing an orgasm.

Now, there are people who can produce orgasms while conscious just by fantasizing about sexual fantasies as well, that is why this last one has a few different names. Typically if you are conscious and produce the orgasm it is a Mental/Fantasy orgasm, while if you are unconscious it is considered a sleep orgasm. No matter which name you call it, it’s pretty freaking fascinating

A final note on pleasure

In a world where vulva owner’s desires have long been sidelined or silenced, embracing and championing their pleasure is not just a personal pursuit but a revolutionary act of empowerment.

It’s about reclaiming agency over our bodies, our desires, and our narratives. It’s about recognizing that our pleasure matters, not as a commodity or a tool for validation, but as an intrinsic part of our humanity.

By prioritizing and celebrating our pleasure, we dismantle centuries of patriarchal norms and pave the way for a future where every vulva owner feels unapologetically entitled to their own pleasure, own joy, and own fulfillment. So let’s embrace our desires, explore our bodies, and demand the pleasure we deserve, because when women thrive in pleasure, we pave the path to a more liberated and equitable world for all.
