Explore MFM Taboo Romances and Discover Yourself Along the Way

Everyone can benefit from a sprinkle of more spice in their life, so why not in their books too. Reading is sexy and let’s be honest, there are some SPICY books out there. But what do you do if you want to explore the realm of taboo romances without knowing how far you want to go or what you will actually enjoy?

As women we are drawn to the experience of sexual energy. It’s about more than just hearing someone cum or watching some man thrust his cock in and out of a woman as he pleases her. We want to be in the moment, feel ourselves in the situation. A lot of women struggle with watching visual porn because it is hard to actually place themselves in the scene they are watching. Either it’s over too quick or they don’t feel like it focuses enough on what they crave to heighten their stimulation. Even with toys and setting the mood it can almost feel like “too much work” to watch porn when it comes to your solo play.

If you feel like that then I have the ticket to your next solo play session being everything you ever wanted…read your porn instead!

82% of readers for romance novels are women…why…because we crave the passion and sexual tension that the books give us. 8 min clips of some random people can’t deliver what an entire story about the characters sexual journey together can.

Explore Yourself Through Books

First, it needs to be said that if you get turned on when reading spicy romance books it’s normal. No matter how deep into this category they go. You never have to feel shame over what you enjoy. Reading is a safe and easy way for you to explore different levels of sexual pleasure and find what turns you on in ways you may not have expected.

The concept of reading something taboo is alluring to women because it allows them insight into something they have never experienced before.  The book may explore a concept that you aren’t exactly comfortable with expressing to your friends on your weekly girls night. Books give you a community that shares the same wants/desires that you do and offers a world of information for specific kinks.

You may have been talked down to about your sexual desires and fantasies in the past and the thought of having what you want doesn’t feel possible anymore. The realm of reasons is endless but the point is women are guided from a young age to do everything we can to please our future partner instead of focusing our attention on the main person we should be trying to please. Ourself! Reading romance novels, especially ones deemed taboo in society standards is a safe way for you to let yourself see what else is out there and how you feel as you read it.

MFM: Male Female Male Fantasies

MFM Romance books, or Male-Female-Male Romance books, are a common form of spicy books. They are actually one of the top 10 sought after book tropes in erotica categories. So would it shock you to know that only around 10% of women have actually had a threesome involving two males in their life? If that’s the case how can this be such a popular book trope to fall into?

As women, we have so much pressure put on us by society to maintain a certain way of life. Society constantly dictates: what the house should look like, how to keep everyone in the family happy and satisfied. We are supposed to always make the choice that’s best for everyone, not just ourselves. We feel we have to choose between being a good mom or having the career we want. We choose between going out with our friends who we haven’t seen in a while or taking a day of rest that we need after a hard week. We are constantly giving, our time, our energy, our love, our attention to everyone but to ourselves.

The appeal of reading a “why choose” book is so much more than just the concept of receiving pleasure from multiple partners, although it’s incredibly stimulating, it’s about letting yourself not have to choose to. It doesn’t have to be A OR B, it gets to be both because you deserve both.  It’s a gift of pleasure and reminder to yourself that you are allowed to say I want something and let yourself have it. It’s not selfish. You shouldn’t feel guilty. You should feel empowered by giving yourself the grace to make the choice (or not make the choice in this case) that lights you up.

What we read doesn’t necessarily mean we need it in real life. We crave fantasy, the idea of something being fulfilled in ways that it couldn’t be done in our day to day life. I’m happily married to someone who can more than satisfy me in the bedroom (I’m talking multiple orgasms in one round…he does not disappoint) but I still crave the “why choose” romance novels or the sex with a shifter dragon flying through the sky

Books are an escape, and a highly sexualized one if you want them to be. Reading can even be a form of self stimulation and play if you allow yourself to fully embrace what you’re reading and how it makes you feel.

Why Choose?

Now onto what it is that actually turns us on here. The “why choose” MFM style takes the pleasure and romance and passion we desire and turns it up. Literally doubling every shock of pleasure that the woman in the story is receiving. She’s cherished. She’s teased. She’s pleasured in multiple ways at the same time allowing her to get out of her head and just focus on what is happening to her and for her. Having all of this undivided attention is not something most women feel on a daily basis and that is why it is so sought after in these books. It reminds us of what we deserve in this life.

Finding a good book that showcases this relationship effect is easy and I share some of my favorites below. However if you are looking for more of an educational story, one that opens your eyes to the power that a woman can feel as she receives this type of double pleasure for the first time, I want to introduce you to Mia and her resident sex therapists in Dirty Therapy by Tara Crescent. This book gets my highest recommendation. It gets to the nitty gritty of why the double satisfaction can be so satisfying for a woman and how they can allow themselves to soak in all of the pleasures available to them.

Dirty Therapy by Tara Crescent

Dirty Therapy details how a woman who has not been properly satisfied sexually in her past allows herself to explore her sexuality and what her body is capable of with two of the hottest sex therapists ever to walk this earth. They teach her how powerful sex can be and how she can be pleasured beyond her wildest imaginations.

Mia, the female main character in this story, has that sweet and good natured attitude but she is very uncomfortable when it comes to her pleasure. She hasn’t been able to have an orgasm and finds herself seeking professional help trying to understand her body. However, the relationship becomes personal very quickly as our two main men show Mia how getting out of her head and into what she feels in her body is the way to true bliss. This steamy “three is better” scenario gets your blood pumping and it all starts before breakfast.

Ben and Landon are two friends who have recently moved to this quiet town to open their sex therapy business helping couples or solo clients who are struggling with their sexual desires and figuring out what they need to be happy. They have a lot of skill and experience in how to guide someone mentally into being vulnerable and letting themselves have what they want. They have shared women in the past and are both skilled beyond belief when it comes to their sexual experiences, but they haven’t found the right woman to keep by their side.

There is a scene in this book that starts off in the best way possible, a demanding confident man telling you to take off your panties and hand them to him, essentially making her naked in front of these two men…in full view of the window where anyone can see her. This is highly risqué for someone who had an essentially vanilla sex life before this.

Ben steps up behind Mia to take the panties from her and tell her to go lean over Landon, our other sexy therapist. Ben is in control here and gives her a clear look promising an orgasm if she does what he says when Mia hesitates to go to Landon, over fear of the being in full site of anyone on the street. She listens and gets rewarded by Ben who spanks her while Landon plays with her nipples. Essentially taking her mind in multiple directions so she can no longer let her worry over the “what if’s’ consume her and instead focus on the pleasure they’re delivering.

Ben moves from rubbing her ass to spreading her legs wider so he can properly finger her while Landon starts to suck her tits into his mouth and truly explore how amazing she is as she leans into her pleasure from both men at different angles. One in front of her where she is angled on top and one behind her where she is spread open and exposed to him in the best way possible. She is free in this moment letting herself enjoy what is being done to her body from both sides.

Ben is thrusting his fingers into her, filling her with images of how he will take her while Landon fills her mouth, taking her mind to another place in time, promising more and more pleasure.  He then gently fingers her tight hole with his other hand. She is so stimulated in this moment with Ben’s fingers inside of both of her holes and Landon devouring her breasts as he nips and bites and sucks she is rocked with the fiercest orgasm. It’s this surrendering of control to these men that allows Mia to come completely undone in this moment.

And this is just the first sex scene we get to experience between them.

You will be hooked on this pleasure within the first 30% of the book which gives you enough time to learn and understand the characters so that when they do come together, you have a clear picture of what makes this as explosive as it is.

Knowing yourself is just as important as knowing your partner in any sexual scenario. When you we are reading and giving yourself grace to explore sexually through these characters you we need to know who they are to get the full magnitude of the experience.

Why are books so appealing?

As the reader you are allowing yourself to imagine these scenarios playing out in front of you. You’re drawn into it and hopefully receiving pleasure from it as well with or without the added use of toys or external stimulation. When you understand the characters, for instance how Ben likes to be in control and take charge of the situation, you can feel yourself surrendering to him or leaning in a little more as you read the parts where he tells her what to do and how to do. When he commands the situation you feel it because you’re engaged in who he is as a character in the book. The same way when you watch a good movie that makes you smile or laugh or cry does. It’s all about letting yourself feel into it. That’s one of the main reasons so many women are drawn to varying degrees of spicy romance novels over porn. They can actually envision themselves in the setting and embracing the scene as it builds up instead of trying to get turned on as fast as they do in the videos.

My reminder to you is this…after reading all about these characters and the way that this type of action can make you feel if you enjoyed yourself, let yourself experience it. Without any guilt or worry or pressure on whether this should be something you actually do. Life is too short and I know you have too much weight on your shoulders to hold back from grabbing your moments of pleasure where you can.

The best part about it is this allows you to truly understand your own body and see what you respond to as well in a safe and controlled environment where you don’t have to focus on anyone but you and what you need. Pay attention to your body and how she responds as you’re reading and you will get to understand yourself with the more you read. When you read how Ben spanks her ass as Landon swallows her moans down does your inside clench? Do you feel yourself getting wetter or gripping the book tighter when they tell her what to do or when they praise her for how well she listened?

You’re not just reading some words on a page, you are engaging in a full experience of pleasure.

I hope this helped you understand MFM romance a little more. If you’re interested in diving into some other “three is not a crowd” books here are some of my top recommendations for all smut lovers.
