Kegel Balls: The Answer to Tightening Your Pelvic Floor?

Have you ever heard of Kegel Balls or Ben Wa Balls??

This is a toy that isn’t as well known as your common vibrator or butt plug but it can be just as fabulous to have in your special stash of bedroom play things.

You may have heard of kegel exercises before and this toy takes these practices to an elevated level.

What is a Kegel Exercise?

Kegel exercises are for strengthening and training your perineal pelvic muscles. This is helpful when you are trying to tighten your pelvic floor muscles for simulation purposes or for during pregnancy or after childbirth.

Kegel exercise can be a daily part of someone’s routine and make a huge difference when moving your body with them for even just a few minutes each day.

Your pelvic muscles are just like any other muscle, they start to weaken over time and the less you use them the weaker they get. It is important to engage your perineal muscles as your body goes through change, whether it be aging, pregnancy, healing from birth or trauma to the body and even stress.

Using Kegel Balls is a great way to further your practice of strengthening your most intimate muscles as well providing a way to intensive your pleasure when desired.

First thing you need to know about them is that they are inserted into your vagina so they can assist in tightening these intimate muscles. Any woman can use them since they intensify pleasure for you and provide added stimulation. Often it is thought that it is just for women who have bladder problems or are trying to strengthen after giving birth but it’s not. Yes it is helpful for both of these conditions and can improve your practice when it comes to your pleasure core overall.

If you use kegel balls there is NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU.

The second thing is they are weighted. Again think about it like activating a muscle, when you go to the gym you start lifting weights you are preparing your body to hold and maintain a level of strength and tension. You start with a 3 lb weight or a 5 lb weight if you haven’t done it before. You gradually increase based on your needs and what feels good to your body.

There is no right or wrong way to go about your routine when it comes to kegel work. That is why they come in all shapes, sizes, and weights so you can find what feels the most comfortable for you.

Now with all of this being said, kegel balls aren’t just an exercise accessory. They are a Full Pleasure Activator and deserve to be seen as such.

I want to share some of my favorite ways to use kegel balls when it comes to pleasure play. These can be used in a solo session or with your partner as they offer intimate delight when encouraged.

1. Add During Oral Smex.

Internal stimulation adds another layer of pleasure to you while your partner is going down on you and can ultimately heighten any orgasmic experience. It’s that extra boost you didn’t know you needed. This is especially true if you are using a higher weight or a vibrating set as this applies more pressure to your inner walls causing the big O you’re chasing to come harder and stronger.

2. Public Play Time.

This one is a little taboo but bear with me because it is so worth it. When you’re in public together with your partner, like at a restaurant or out driving, you can use these balls to bring a deeper level of intimacy to any moment. It has you building pressure and intensifies your nerve endings so that you’re edging yourself until you can have a moment for full release. Wearing kegel balls in public also brings a level of risk behavior and forbidden play when both you and your partner are aware of a secret that others would be shocked by. It creates a safe space for passion that you trust your partner with the knowledge that you are embracing something like this with them. This is always something to have a conversation about prior so you know your partner’s boundaries as well as what your boundaries are in this situation. If they vibrate, who has the remote? When is it acceptable to turn on the vibrations or is there any time that is not acceptable in your eyes? These are questions to think about before participating in this but once you are on the same page this is a top choice for me when it comes to pleasure play with kegel balls.

3. During An@l Smex.

Kegels are all about focus on your muscles and internal pleasure. When engaged in anal play it can push the toy into your G-spot and provide orgasmic pressure to amplify all sensations going through your body. We discussed how it provides that extra layer of tension on your intimate muscles which makes it a tighter fit all around.

Too Timid has a Vibrating Set that I highly recommend. It has an easy retrieval cord which I prefer to the ones that are separate as it makes for removal of the toy smoother and less complicated. It has 10 different vibration settings so you can feel a whole range of activation inside of you. This is especially fun to play around with what feels good when your partner is playing with you, finding a setting that mimics the actions they are doing with their tongue takes things to that above the clouds high “O” level.
